Modern Slavery Statement

Zero tolerance for modern slavery and human trafficking.

This statement is made on a voluntary basis having regard to the principles of the United Kingdom Modern Slavery Act 2015 and equivalent international frameworks, and reflects the standards Apeltrys Advisors applies across all of its operations.

Our organisation

Apeltrys Advisors is an independent strategic advisory firm with operations across Brazil, Israel, the United States, Portugal, France, Switzerland and the United Kingdom. Our work is intellectual and relationship-driven; we do not operate manufacturing, agriculture, construction or other sectors typically associated with heightened modern slavery risk.

Our supply chain

Our supply chain is concentrated in professional services and corporate functions — including legal counsel, accountancy, technology, communications and facilities. Suppliers are predominantly established firms operating in jurisdictions with robust labour-protection regimes.

Policies

Apeltrys Advisors maintains a Code of Conduct that prohibits any form of forced, bonded, compulsory or child labour and any form of human trafficking. The Code applies to all partners, employees and contractors and is reinforced through our hiring and procurement practices.

Due diligence

We assess prospective clients and significant suppliers as part of our standard onboarding process, including reputational, sanctions and integrity screening. Mandates or relationships giving rise to credible modern slavery concerns will be declined or terminated.

Training and awareness

Partners and employees receive periodic guidance on identifying and escalating modern slavery and human-trafficking concerns relevant to our advisory work.

Effectiveness

We review this statement at least annually and refine our policies and procedures in light of operational experience, regulatory developments and stakeholder feedback.
